Subscription

What is a subscription?

The subscription is your way into the extended world of i-doit. Despite the access to exclusive functions you have a full vendor supported product. The annual usage fee, based on the amount of objects, allows the usage of the latest version.

The intention is to spread the costs over the complete time of usage and lower the initial costs. Therefore an anual fee needs to be accepted.

Facts and prices

All prices are on an 12 month basis, starting from the day of purchase. VAT is in addition to all prices.

What is included?
The subscription includes the right of usage of the latest i-doit version in the covered time period. All modules (Reporting, CMDB-Explorer, IT-Grundschutz, ITIL-Status, extended import/export and the right to buy further service and support is also included. The usage is limited to one client on one instance. (for enhancements see hosting licence)

Is service and support included?
Our intention is that you only pay for what you are using. That is why service and support are separated products. So it is your decision whether or not to buy further service.

Is there a way to calculate the required number of objects?
Yes and no. The more details you want to document, the more objects are needed. We roughly calculate 10-20 objects per Client-PC, but it a can be a lot more or less depending on the level of implementation.

What is an object?
An object is a configuration item (CI), i.e. a server or a switch. A contract or a software application is also an object. A relation or connection between objects does not count as an object.

What is an instance?
An instance is a closed, physical platform on which one i-doit-pro version is installed (i.e dedicated or virtual server )

What is a client (client-database)?
A client is one database set for one end user. A second database set within an i-doit installation would be counted as a second client. There is no connection possible between these sets.

What is multi-client capability? What is a hosting licence?
The multi-client capability allows to spread an object package among different clients. This feature is dedicated to the hosting licence.

Are the different object packages combinable?
Yes, you can combine packages as and when you want. Sometimes it is cheaper to buy the next higher level.

Is it possible to upgrade to the next higher object package?
No, not during the annual period. But for the new period you can buy another package.

Buyers version

What is the buyers version?

The buyers version or purchase version is the alternative to the subscription version. This version has a unlimited right of usage. For the first 3 years, upgrade protection and academy access is included. After that, these services can be purchased separately. The price is based on the quantity of objects. Packets can be purchased additionally.

For whom is this product designed?

For those who need an extended right of usage or cannot buy a product based on an annual fee.

Workshops

What are the i-doit workshops?

At the workshop, you will receive indepth and updated knowledge on the use and operation of i-doit. For a short introduction, the online workshop "I do IT", which last less than three hours, gives all the essentials to start with. It is offered in regular intervals.

Furthermore you can choose from a couple of seminars, taking place in our company or at your site.

The duration is from one to three days and the content is following a module principle. You are able to choose from a selection of modules - you can make up your own 'menu'. Topics from the foundations of usage up to integrating complex environments and development are covered.

For whom is this product designed?

The workshops offered are for users of the open- and pro-versions. Operating alongside our academy, this is direct and fast way to access comprehensive knowledge

What are the Codingents?

A Condigent is just a fixed package of development hours. You can define your customization needs for i-doit pro to be developed by us. It can be a individual report, a definition of new categories or the integration of third party tools.

A transparent procedure secures fair calculation and accounting.

Academy

What is the academy?

The academy is a modern e-learning portal for i-doit. Information, tutorials and learning modules around i-doit and additional smart ITSM tools are available. There are also 'how tos', screencasts and webinars.

In addition, organisations and companies can have exclusive learning areas for their own content, specific to internal processes and applications. So you can deploy your homemade ITSM strategy to your employees.

For whom is this product designed?

The academy is open to everybody. Access can be granted to individuals or organisations.

Users of i-doit pro have access to the academy based on the subscription or buyers version on an organisational level (2 contacts included). Further access can be purchased (see list).

Support & Care

What is Support & Care?

This is our main support product for i-doit pro to offer you direct support and to get in touch with us. All questions around the use of i-doit will be answered, problems solved and bugs fixed immediately.

We have a basic package with a mail-based contact and an advanced package with phone contact and direct remote support.

In combination with the subscription agreement we recommend to order the support at the same time. This assures a continuous support. The later ordering during the subscription time period is also possible, but it will be the same price.

For whom is this product designed?

For users who want a direct vendor support contact and a quick problem solution, this is the right product.

Starter Package

What is the Starter Package?

The starter package is a bundle of services to make your start into the world of i-doit smart and easy. The full vendor competence and the experience of many CMDB-Installations will make the in-doit introduction in your company a success.

The starter package contains the following benefits:

Preparation of your Configuration Management Plan (CMP)
The basis of a successful CMDB Introduction is a well prepared CMP. It documents which activities are needed, how they will be proceeded, who is responsible, when they take place and the required resources.

Best Practice for your setup
We will work out the smartest approach together! Trust us.

Data collection and import of asset information
i-doit has a variety of possibilities to import data. But sometimes, special interfaces or filters need to be created to gather the data.
We will do this for you and show you smart ways, how to maintain the data in the future.

Installation and configuration of i-doit
We install, configure and fine-tune your i-doit environment on the provided hardware plattform.

Workshops and training
