We at i-doit are pleased to announce a significant strategic expansion of our portfolio: The company CONTECHNET is now part of the i-doit family.

With this acquisition, we are further expanding our leading position in the field of IT operations management (ITOM) and will offer our customers an even more comprehensive range of solutions in future.

Stronger together: IT documentation meets information security

i-doit has stood for reliable IT documentation and a powerful CMDB for many years. With the integration of CONTECHNET, we are expanding our offering with in-depth expertise in the areas of information security management (ISMS), IT contingency planning and data protection. This synergy enables us to provide our customers with even better support in the holistic management and protection of their IT infrastructures.

CONTECHNET was founded in 2007 and is headquartered in Pattensen, Lower Saxony. With over 30 employees and a strong partner network, the company supports more than 400 customers from a wide range of industries - including well-known names such as Konica Minolta, Hannover 96 and Stadtwerke Heidelberg. CONTECHNET's software solutions have a modular structure, are practical and can be used across all industries.

A new milestone for i-doit

"The inclusion of CONTECHNET in the i-doit Group is a strategic milestone," says Constantin Schröder, CEO of i-doit. "CONTECHNET's in-depth expertise in information security and IT contingency planning is an ideal complement to our strengths in IT documentation. Together, we will create a unique integrated platform that helps organizations manage and secure their IT environments more effectively and resiliently. We look forward to the opportunities this will create - for our customers, our teams and our partners."

CONTECHNET is also delighted: "We are delighted to accompany i-doit on this journey," explain Rainer Finke and Georg Reimann, Co-CEOs of CONTECHNET. "The combined strengths of both companies open up new opportunities for product development, market expansion and customer success. We look forward to shaping the future of IT operations and security management together."

Support from Main Capital Partners

The acquisition of CONTECHNET is the first expansion of i-doit since Main Capital Partners joined in June 2022. Yves Souren, Director Business Development at Main Capital Partners, emphasizes: "We are proud to support i-doit in this first strategic add-on that significantly strengthens the company's position in IT operations management. The combination with CONTECHNET brings strong product synergies and enhances go-to-market capabilities across the board. This acquisition is a great example of how we aim to build leading, scalable software groups through thoughtful growth and partnerships."

Outlook: Added value for our customers

For our customers, this development means one thing above all: more opportunities to manage their IT and security processes from a single source. By closely integrating documentation, security management and emergency planning, we are creating a holistic solution that meets the growing demands of the digital world.

We are looking forward to the future together with CONTECHNET - and to supporting our customers even better on their way to greater resilience, transparency and security.
